Drying Flowers?
Drying flowers? If you're wondering why I care about wanting to know to dry off flowers... the truth is, I don't care. I have no interest in knowing how to dry off flowers. I just found it interesting that someone wanted to know. Okay, now that that's out of the way... let's get started.
When I first saw this question on Yahoo Answers, my first thought was... "Dry flowers... seriously?" Wouldn't you just dry flowers like you would anything else?
Wait, why would you want to dry flowers off anyway? Why not just avoid the need to dry off the flowers by... oh, I don't know, just giving the flowers a little water instead of drowning them in water.
This question seemed a little to simple. Maybe too simple. The fact that it was so simple made me suspicious. Was there something more to drying off flowers... some sort of trick?
I mean, if the flowers are wet, then just dry them off. Isn't it that simple?
Put it out in the sun?
Dry it off using a towel?
Use a hair dryer?
Okay, maybe there is some sort of trick to this.
But, before I go looking for a somewhat appropriate answer, I suppose I need to know why I'd want to dry a flower off in the first place. So, why would someone want to dry off flowers?
It's time to consult Google... wait, why am I about to Google "How to dry flowers" again? Do I really want to know the answer... mmm...ah, no.
I've already lost interest. Maybe another time... who knows. Maybe, just maybe I find myself in some situation where I have flowers and I had the sudden urge to submerge them in a bathtub full of water, only to realise that I planned on giving them to someone and therefore need dry flowers by 3pm the next day... maybe. If I find myself in such a situation, then I'll Google "How to dry flowers" but until then...
